Winemaker Notes:
On the nose, intense aromas of cedar, black currant, spiced plums, licorice and mocha. On the palate, a rich, ripe fruit entry of dark blueberry, black cherry and wild berry flavors along with hints of vanilla/carmel tones. This impressive wine has good composition, detail, concentration and depth with nice length, persistence and purity in the finish. Can be enjoyed immediately or cellared for another 10-15+ years.

92 Points - "A delicious wine that I’ve never had before, Charthia’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, spent 22 months in 100% French oak. Beautiful blueberry and blackcurrant fruit and licorice are followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with excellent power, purity, ripeness and overall balance. I don’t know much about the estate, but this is high-class Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from a great vintage. Drink it over the next 15 or so years."
